The problem is you would get double the tone shaping if you did a line-in to the "guitar in" jack of a standard guitar amp, i.e. ![]() ![]() ![]() Someone asked about lining-in to a normal amp. A pedal steel guy would cream his pants with one of these. Don't be mislead into thinking the X is only for metal, its the ducks nuts for any soft/mild distortion, blues, rock, the dynamics and sound quality are insanely good. The cream one (THR10) seems to be the jack of all trades. The C model is low gain and for those who are into boutique low gain amps, I was pushing s uphill to get any drive from my humbuckers through a C amp in a store. I got the THR10X model, it has a clean sound, and various distortion sounds, great for blues and early acca-dacca through to heavier distortions. Don't know how I missed this thread.best amp I ever owned regardless of power output.
